Why we chose them
Zootechnics has always been an important economic resource in Primiero, in Trentino. Once, almost every family had cows and still today from the
farms, from the work in the mountain pasture and from the fresh milk that you get every day, the people of the valley find their main livelihood. In the
past, given the small amount of fresh milk produced by a single family, there was a need to unite to work the little milk of small farmers. So, the
Caseificio Primieiro born and today is part of the group Gruppo Formaggi del Trentino and is one of only two dairies that produces the
Trentingrana di Malga, with a production of about 1.000 pieces for season. For the production of Trentingrana di Malga, the dairy processes milk
from the following mountain pastures: Venegiota, Pala, Vallazza, Fosse, Juribello and Roll, all located in the Primiero valley
