Description | Crispy and fleshy bell pepper strips, they are grilled whole, hand-peeled, sliced into strips, and preserved naturally |
---|---|
Appearance | Yellow and red bell pepper strips, they have a crunchy texture and vivid color. They are peeled. Additionally, the vegetable water is minimized and the milk is nearly full once drained |
Taste | The flavor is fragrant but not cloying at all, encapsulating all the sweetness of freshly harvested bell peppers |
Curiosity | One of the typical appetizers of Puglia is roasted bell peppers, peeled and sliced into strips. A very simple dish, directly drawn from peasant tradition, which manages, however, to always delight, even today, for its goodness and the incredible flavor that is created thanks to the bell peppers |
Our selection | This is the second reference introduced in our catalog from Casa Marrazzo, a challenge we accepted with great enthusiasm given the excitement generated by the tomatoes launched during last year's Sapori 2023! We are certain that you will fall in love with it just like we did |
Suggestions | Perfect for filling a Panciotto Moro Bio or a Pala Tavolozza Bio by Antonio Follador, excellent as a side dish both with meat and fish, but also for dressing pasta thanks to their versatility in the kitchen |

Casa Marrazzo - Pagani (SA)
Why we chose them
We are all children of the earth, and it would be good not to forget it. This is the greatest legacy Teresa and Gerardo Marrazzo received from their
father Carmine: a respect for nature and the agricultural world above all. Founded by Pasquale Marrazzo in the early 1900s, Casa Marrazzo was
initially a farming and horticultural business. In the 1970s, Carmine had the intuition to start transforming raw materials into surplus markets,
especially on behalf of third parties. In the late 1990s, with the entry of the third generation into the business first Teresa and then Gerardo the
production under the brand Casa Marrazzo began. And today the family business also includes Gaetano, Teresa's son, bringing it to the fourth
generation. The Marrazzos are "artisans of the good": a family-run artisanal reality that aims to preserve and innovate the ancient art of preserves,
inseparably linked to the local culture. We are in the Agro Sarnese Nocerino, the valley that extends from Vesuvius to the Gulf of Naples, between
the sea and the Lattari Mountains: the land of San Marzano. It is here that the Marrazzo family produces various lines of preserves inspired by the
tradition of the most authentic South, in respect of the environment clean energy, recycling of water and packaging, electric vehicles for sourcing
raw materials locally and the people who work in their Home.
